Christopher E. Ruehl/Architect was established to provide a personal attention to the process of Architecture and Design, and to provide a service as unique as each client and project. I have over 20 years of experience in diverse building types including Single and Multi-Family Residential, Educational, Science & Technology, Commercial, and Corporate, as well as Master Planning. I am a creative Architect who believes in a collaborative effort to bring the clients intent and vision from concept to completion. I strive to go beyond my clients needs through understanding the true objectives of the project.
Leading to the creation of my practice, I have worked as Associate Architect for such firms as Perkins Eastman, EYP Architects, as Project Manager at Butler Rogers Baskett (BRB), Haverson Architecture & Design, and DLMR Architects, and staff Architect for Columbia University. I have designed and constructed work in NY, CT, NJ, as well as Nantucket, MA and Chicago, IL.
A Registered Architect in NY and CT, I am also NCARB Certified1 and hold a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University3. I am a LEED®2 Accredited Professional with the United States Green Building Council, and was active for over 10 years in the ACE Mentoring Program instructing high school students in Architecture, Construction and Engineering.
